Mobile social app with short videos based on geo location

Current Status

Currently I have a prototype of the product, it means it's ready SpotStream application for Android platform. I intent to launch an application on Play Market store firstly only for Belarus region for A/B testing, as well as to check market potential for this app

Market

The user of the app is an active user of mobile phone. His is always online and consumes lots of information.
The first users will be young people 15-22 y.o. who will generate a content. By the development of the app the audience will grow and broaden the age up to 40 y.o, who will just look for content.
The soft launch will be provided on Belarus territory.

Problem or Opportunity

It's important to find a nearby place of any kind (cafe, restaurant, gym etc) and even most important to get a relevant reference for this kind of venue from the inside. This app helps to find the place fast, get or leave a video stream (livestream is possible) and save your memories on the map.

Solution (product or service)

SpotStream includes the next features:
- find a certain type of place on the map;
- watch the videos of the choosen venue/place from inside;
- leave a short video on the map;
- save a video memories based on geo location in your own profile.

Competitors

From one side partially the competitors are geo products like Foursquare, Google Maps, on the other hand online video streaming services like Bigo, Mysically. No one has the same features

Finance

The model of monetization will be inapp advertising. The app will be free for all users. After the sustainable growth and reaching enough loyal audience it will be added some of monetization networks SDK, like Google Admob, Facebook Audience Network, and some video networks like Unity or AdColony.

Money will be spent on

1. Buying of Firebase Storage, if there will be not enough the capacity, we will change the Storage provide
2. API Database
3. Development of iOS version
4. User Acquisition on soft launch
5. Creation of content, partnership with bloggers
